2015-2016. Cloth and yarn: indigo-dyed and turmeric and pomegranate-dyed cotton. Paper: machine-made.

​Cover size: 17╳11cm.

 

These notebooks were bound with cotton cloth and yarn that were dyed with a technique similar to the old method. The dyed yarn was bundled and twisted with undyed yarn into a string. The way of this binding is the style of a traditional Indian account book or ledger, bahi khata.
