Barmer Fort

The fort was built by Rawat Bhima in the 16th century. He founded the present city of Barmer and shifted his capital from Juna to Barmer. The fort is located on top of the city, on the hillside. There are two significant temples on that hill, one is Jogmaya Devi temple and the other one is Nagnechi Mata temple.
